The Wharf At Orange Beach Awards Norred Its Security Contract
The Wharf at Orange Beach, Alabama, the Gulf Coast's premier resort destination and the newest venture by AIG Baker, has chosen Norred & Associates to provide its security services. The Wharf is a multi-use recreational and residential complex featuring an amphitheater, a marina with 210 public and private slips, vacation accommodations, a boardwalk with unique shops and boutiques, and six beautiful residential condominium complexes. While some of the features of The Wharf are still in the planning and construction stages, visitors can now enjoy the southeast's largest Ferris Wheel while shopping and dining along the boardwalk, or attending a concert at the amphitheater. Norred is proud to add The Wharf to its growing list of clients.
Norred Expands Into Texas
The Heritage Plaza, a premier Class A marquee building in Houston, Texas, has awarded Norred & Associates its security services contract, to begin in June of 2006. The Heritage Plaza is one of the most beautiful and widely photographed buildings located on the west side of the Houston downtown district. Norred continues to grow by expanding into the Houston market, while maintaining its commitment to superior customer service.
Norred Officer Receives Officer of the Year Award
Norred & Associates is proud to announce that Ms. Althea Beasley, a Norred Security Officer, has received the Officer of the Year award from ASIS International, the largest international organization for professionals responsible for private security. Ms. Beasley works at the Atlanta Airport account, with our partner, Priority One Security. The award was presented to her at the ASIS Atlanta Chapter Annual banquet on December 21, 2005 by Richard Duncan, outgoing President of ASIS and the Aviation Security Director at the Hartsfield Jackson International Airport.
We are proud of Ms. Beasley, and all of our Security Officers in the field who provide excellent customer service to our clients in Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Florida and Tennessee.
Norred & Associates Sends Team Of Special Ops Agents To Southern Louisiana.
After Hurricane Katrina devastated the New Orleans area, it was clear that this would be no ordinary storm clean-up effort. Several clients who have facilities in that area called on Norred for help. With special permission granted by the State of Louisiana to provide armed security, Norred responded by sending a team of 20 armed agents to the area. Even though there was no electricity, no running water, no services of any kind, these agents rose to the challenge. Within 24 hours of the call, they were in Louisiana securing the clients’ properties until services were restored. These agents also acted as escorts when executives and managers of these facilities toured their property to assess the damage caused by Katrina. Because of Norred’s efforts, the clients were able to concentrate on getting their facilities up and running without fear of looting and other harmful elements that still plague the area.
Norred Provides Security For Lt. Col. (Retired) Oliver North For Upcoming Book Tour
When Retired Lt. Col. Oliver North embarks on a book tour, he calls on Norred & Associates to provide personal protection. He is currently on a tour of the country and has one of Norred’s top agents by his side. The colonel attracts huge crowds wherever he goes, and because he likes to “meet and greet” as many people as possible, having the Norred agent by his side enables him to do this without being harmed either intentionally or otherwise. Norred& Associates has been providing this type of service, and others, to Lt. Col. North for over 20 years.
